Join Baritone Keith Spencer for “A Negro Spiritual and Gospel Celebration of the Music of Paul Robeson.” Paul Robeson was New Jersey’s true Renaissance man—stand-out athlete, outstanding student, Shakespearean actor, and committed advocate for the rights of the oppressed. Blessed with an incredible voice, Robeson set the standard for on-screen and on-stage bass performances.

In this concert, Keith Spencer revives Robeson’s spiritual and gospel works. A gifted artist, Spencer exhilarates audiences with his passionate and sensitive delivery of both well-known and less frequently performed works.
