Traditional Irish music has remained vibrant throughout the 20th and into the 21st century. It includes many kinds of songs including folk songs, drinking songs, ballads, and laments. Philadelphia-based singer and actor Meredith Beck shares the music, stories, and even a joke or two, while presenting a variety of these songs.

Meredith is the founding member and lead vocalist of “The Galway Girls”—a trio of singing musicians. She is also a private voice coach, and she teaches Irish song and dance to students in elementary through high school. This event is FREE and open to the public.
