Wendy Rosen is a lifelong Francophile who loves exploring the stories, history, and culture that have shaped France and its influence on the world. With a master's degree in French and experience living and studying in France, she also worked for the French company Club Med alongside mostly French colleagues, giving her an immersive experience of French language and culture as they are lived every day. She brings a unique perspective that combines historical insight with firsthand cultural experience.

Wendy is especially fascinated by the connections between language, history, and everyday life—how wars, revolutions, food, fashion, art, and famous personalities continue to shape the France we know today. Whether she's tracing the origins of a familiar French expression, explaining why Paris became the fashion capital of the world, or uncovering the centuries-old relationship between France and England or the United States, she delights in making history engaging, relatable, and full of surprising connections.
