Phil Zipkin was born and raised in Los Angeles, Phil started his journey into the world of performing arts by getting accepted into the Hamilton Academy of Music in LA.  After graduating with honors, his college adventures took him to Boston University in their School of Fine Arts, The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in NYC & UC San Diego in La Jolla, CA.  He has performed in various National Tours, Off Broadway and in Regional productions of Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Annie, A Chorus Line, and Good News. He has also worked with esteemed composer/lyrics such as Maltby & Shire, William Finn & George Forrest & Robert Wright to name a few. He also sang on Barry Manilow's Holiday album in LA and sang with Barbara Cook at Carnegie Hall. For the last 10 years, Phil has actively been performing various one man shows at senior communities in the Tri-State and Philadelphia area, enjoying bringing the joy of music to all the beautiful residents.
