Marissa Chalker: is a Philadelphia-based mezzo-soprano who loves to sing opera and Golden Age music theater. She is an active chorister, soloist, and teacher in the greater Philadelphia area. Marissa regularly performs with Opera Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Orchestra Symphonic Choir, the Philadelphia Chorale, Curtis Opera Theatre, and Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton, New Jersey. She has also sung with the Spoleto Festival USA, the Philadelphia Singers, the CoOPERAtive Program, the Thirteen Chamber Choir, the Princeton Festival, Opera Cleveland, and Opera Per Tutti. She earned a M.M. degree from Westminster Choir College and a B.M. degree from Baldwin-Wallace College and Conservatory of Music.
