Leslie DeMasi Aita is a versatile and engaging singer based in the Philadelphia area, with a passion for music that began at the age of four. What started with singing for family gatherings grew into a professional career at age 16, when Leslie began performing with a local band. She has been entertaining audiences ever since.

Even throughout her successful 32-year career with the Department of Homeland Security, Leslie continued to perform professionally, pursuing her love of music alongside her career.

Leslie has studied voice at the Russ Faith School of Music and Settlement Music School, as well as with renowned jazz pianist and educator Jimmy Amadie. Her versatility allows her to move effortlessly across a wide range of musical styles, including Broadway, jazz, country, the Great American Songbook, Motown, and popular music from the 1940s through the 1990s.

Her smooth, lively, and engaging vocal style reflects the influence of legendary artists such as Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Krall, and June Christy.

Over the years, Leslie has performed at a wide variety of venues and events, including supper clubs, hotels, casinos, senior living communities, libraries, festivals, weddings, cocktail parties, corporate events, and private gatherings. She has also performed at numerous fundraisers, including a recent benefit for the Oscar Hammerstein Museum in Doylestown.

Leslie is also a popular and frequently requested performer at senior living communities throughout the region, including The Birches in Newtown, Wesley Living in Doylestown, Philadelphia Protestant Home, Brandywine Living communities in Moorestown, Voorhees, and Princeton, Monroe Village in Princeton, and Pickering Manor in Newtown.

She currently performs with a variety of duos and trios and has collaborated with talented artists including Jeff Dershin. Leslie has also worked with local big-band leaders Brian Pastor, Al Raymond, and Paul Buck.

Whether performing an intimate jazz standard, a beloved Broadway favorite, a Motown classic, or a familiar song from decades past, Leslie brings warmth, personality, and a genuine love of music to every performance.
