Sirapat Jittapirom, SIRA

Based in Philadelphia, pianist Sirapat Jittapirom has performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist in the U.S., France, Germany, Italy, and her native country Thailand.

Most recently, she received the John T. Douglas Young Artist award in 2021 from Temple University after being involved in Boyer College of Music’s Opera Theater productions of Donizetti’s Elisir d'amore, Adamo’s Little Women, Britten's The Turn of the Screw, and Strauss's Die Fledermaus as pianist/coach, and keyboardist in the opera orchestra.

 For her outstanding solo performances, Sira was the recipient of the Westside Committee of the LA Philharmonic Margaret Ross Scholarship for three consecutive years (2012-2014), as well as the 2nd prize recipient of the Pi Kappa Lambda Chapter Competition, hosted by Temple University's Boyer College of Music in 2015. She was awarded the Gladfelter, and Helen Kwalwasser-Harvey Wedeen Scholarships in 2017, and the Jacobs Music Company Steinway Award in Spring 2018.

Sira plays a wide range of classical favorites, Disney, jazz standards, and can play almost anything upon request. She performed weekly at CHOP prior to the pandemic.
