Richard McLaughlin (Eco-Man) teaches children about ecology, the environment, and world peace through his interactive music. He is from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and has lived there his entire life. He performs in venues and music events up and down the East Coast.

Eco-Man sings songs and interacts with children in a very personal way.  He takes the time to listen to what the children are asking and then answers their questions through song, dance, or puppets.  He plays original and familiar songs for children between the ages of 3 and 8. Audience members get to join the band by playing one of the many musical instruments or scarves he brings. Eco-Man’s original songs include "Reduce Reuse Recycle," "It’s Our Environment," "Endangered Means There's Still Time," and "Habitat." Children will go home singing the songs!

Richard holds a Master's Degree in Education and is a certified teacher in Environmental Education and Special Education. A teacher since 1986, he is the 2000 Conservation Educator of the Year for Pennsylvania.
